Invitation

NJ LMC invites you to participate in a professional learning experience focused on strengthening labor–management collaboration.

Join us to build the skills, structures, and shared understanding needed to create lasting culture shifts within your leadership teams and across your district. This intensive professional learning program will support selected NJ LMC teams in deepening their capacity to collaborate effectively through a series of facilitated workshops grounded in the nationally recognized California Labor Management Initiative framework.

Who should attend?

  • The sessions are designed for district & county office labor-management teams. At a minimum, teams should ideally include the superintendent, HR director, certificated and classified union leaders and a school board member.
  • Site level staff including principals and union building representatives are encouraged to attend for teams moving the work deeper into school sites.

What will we work on?

  • Building trust and shared understanding across roles
  • Strengthening communication and problem-solving practices
  • Creating sustainable labor-management structures
  • Developing shared agreements and clear next steps
