What Can I expect for April 30th?
The flow for our time together
The Cherry Hill LMC Hub promises to be a rich and fulfilling day for everyone involved. It is designed to give attendees of all experience levels something to inspire their curiosity and build connections as part of the Labor-Management Collaborative movement.
The day will begin with a welcome address from Dr. Kwame Morton, the superintendent of Cherry Hill Schools. This will be followed by an opening panel from the Thomas Paine School Leadership Team, where they will share their story of rethinking the use of time to alleviate faculty overload, improve student behavior, and build a caring community of support that is having impacts across the district, not just in their building.
From there, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of breakout sessions centered on:

What is a Learning Hub?
NJ LMC Learning Hubs are hosted by practitioner districts serving as a space for district leaders from across the state to learn from each other. Hubs provide an opportunity for host districts to showcase their collaboratives and engage in conversations that help refine practice. Attendees from other districts have a chance to see what labor management collaboratives look like in practice, ask questions, and build confidence towards taking the leap into labor management collaboration. Hubs also serve as a place for all attendees to network and engage in collaborative skill building.
The NJ LMC supports learning hubs by providing resources such as registration, facilitating learning experiences, advertising support, and meals.
What can I expect when attending a Learning Hub?
Participants attending a Learning Hub can expect to learn how the host district began its collaborative practice, organizes its LMC, and the structures and practices it uses. Additional breakout sessions will provide a chance to dive deeper into specific aspects of the district’s collaborative, learn specific LMC practices and tools, and have conversations with role-alike stakeholders.
